How to calculate your GPA, CGPA and FGPA at the Ghana Institute of Journalism

A lot of students at the Ghana Institute of Journalism still find it difficult to calculate or probably verify their GPAs, CGPAs and FGPAs. With a Systematic approach crafted below, NAMBE PATRICK (GIJ-SRC General Secretary Hopeful '19) will show you how to do it. KEY TERMINOLOGIES I. CT - Credit Taken/Hour This is the unit of measuring educational credit, usually based on the number of classroom hours per week throughout a semester. II. CCT - Cumulative Credits Taken CCT the sum of all credit hours from courses taken in a semester. III. GP - Grade Point The Grade Point is the number of (grade) points earned by a student for each course completed in a semester. IV. GPA - Grade Point Average GPA is used to find the average result of all grades achieved throughout your course for a semester. V.
