Keteke Ghana’s Humanitarian Trip to Klikor, Volta Region



Keteke Ghana paid a week-long visit to Klikor in the Volta Region of Ghana as part of its humanitarian activities.

The GIJ based club left Accra on May 23, 2017 to support and donate stationery items to two schools in Klirkor; Akatsavakpor Basic School and
Atsiaklorbor M/A Basic School.

Keteke Ghana also provided clothes, shoes and other materials to inhabitants of these two communities.

Aside the donation, the group organized a health screening exercise in collaboration with the Ghana Health Services and it attracted a lot of people to participate.

This trip provided an opportunity for me to visit Togo for the Very first time in my life. Meanwhile, it was my first entry into the Volta Region.

Truly, the experience from the outreach was a nice one and I learned a lot on volunteerism and its essence.

Volta Region is a nice place to live.

“Public Relation(S) Project, A Worthy Activity” – A Case At The Ghana Institute Of Journalism

Usually, I encourage my colleagues on and off campus to embrace certain opportunities while in school. One of such opportunities is to partake in series of extra curricular activities which is highly evident and practicable on 'the soil of GIJ.' Speaking from an angle of self-experience, I can confidently applaud Mr. Ken-Awuku, Mr. Henry Owu, Mr. George Asamoah, Dr. Wilberforce Dzisah and other hard-working lecturers from the Ghana Institute of Journalism who do well to task their students to embark on important class projects. So, I drove all the way from Sunyani to Accra somewhere in 2016 without knowing the basics nor snippets of these fields, but thankfully, I'm okay now. Maame Twebah from GIJ crowned Miss KKB 2018

Priscilla Maame Twebah Aikins from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) has won the maiden edition of Miss KKB held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Neighborhood Centre in Mamprobi, Accra. Organised by KKB Concepts, the event brought together eight (8) finalists who were tasked to showcase their mastery in Talent, Communication and Arts after series of projects executed from previous weeks. The well attended show was met with thrilling moments and performances from guest artistes and dancers. Annabella Ohene Djan from GIJ also passed through with a powerful motivational message which got everyone in the room applauding.
