Apostle’s Continuation Church International at Odorkor supports Royal Seed Orphanage

The Odorkor Youth Ministry of the Apostle's Continuation Church International has donated [some] valuable items to the Royal Seed Home located at Kow Bondzi, a rural suburb near Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana.

The exercise which took place today at the latter's premises formed part of the church's commitment in giving back to the society.

Led by Esther Appiah who is the Youth Organiser, items ranging from Foodstuff, Detergents, Sanitaries, Clothes and foot wears were donated to the Orphanage.

The group cited instances of how students at the Tertiary face challenges during their stay on campus. Therefore, it becomes necessary and advisable enough to reach out to such people with effective counselling and support.

President for the Youth Ministry, Obaa Yaa Agyapomaa in a brief encounter with Nambe Media indicated that, the rationale behind this important activity is to provide 'physical' assistance to the needy.

Regardless, she believes the support will go a long way to promote God's work in fulfilment of the great commission. (Mark 16:15)

"As Christians, we shouldn't only feed people with the word of God but help them with physical needs which are equally essential."

"...The Bible encourages us to preach the Gospel at all times. Therefore, if we have to feed the hungry man with food, we can preach the word of God well." She added.

With the Project which is themed "Double feeding", the Ministry aims at reaching a lot of people through evangelism, and it was officially launched on the 17th of July, 2018 to assist deprived communities across the country and beyond.

The Youth Ministry is very optimistic of establishing various institutions in the near future so as to support the activities they embark on.

"In subsequent years to come, the group looks forward to building schools and rehabilitation centres for the needy." Obaa Yaa Agyapomaa emphasized.

Meanwhile, Officials at the Royal Seed Home were appreciative and impressed by the donations from the Odorkor Youth Ministry as they call on other organisations to follow their steps.
